Roxy is up to date with vaccines, is spayed and has recently been to the vets for a dental clean and a routine health check.
Roxy’s story:
Roxy originally came from Romania when she was a few months old. She has been living happily in the UK for around 8 years now. Unfortunately, Roxy has had to come back into kennels because her previous owner has sadly passed away. This is a big change for Roxy after having been in a loving and comfortable home for so many years. Which is why we are looking for a retirement home or long term foster home for her.
About Roxy:
Roxy is a calm and loving girl who still has plenty of character to show everyone. She walks well on a lead, with a nice pace and enjoys her usual daily stroll. In her previous home, we were told she was fine when left alone for short periods (a few hours). She loves pottering and chilling in the garden. And Roxy will definitely be your best friend and show you her cheeky side when it comes to treats. Like many dogs as they get older, Roxy’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be, and she now finds it difficult to see things up close.
The Home Roxy Needs:
We are looking for a quiet retirement home for Roxy where she can have her home comforts back again. Roxy can be selective with other dogs and we believe she would be best suited being the only dog in the home. She has interacted with older, visiting children in her previous home, however, we think Roxy would be more comfortable if her retirement home was adult only.
