Adoption Process
Step 1 - Choose a dog you wish to adopt
Please make sure you have read the dog’s profile page fully before continuing. Think about if the dog is right for you, your family and your life. And make sure you are ready to commit your time and care to the dog and welcome it into your lifestyle.
Step 2 - Fill in a pre-adoption form
Fill in one of our pre-adoption questionnaires so that we can assess your suitability for the dog you have chosen.

Step 3 - Meet the dog
If you are suitable for the dog you have chosen (and can provide ‘the home they need’), we will contact you, using the contact information you have provided, to arrange a viewing appointment. Our visiting hours are 11am - 3pm everyday. Please note: some dogs may require multiple visits. If you are not suitable for the dog, we may try to match you with another dog in our care.
Step 4 - Pre-adoption assessments
As part of the adoption process, we will ask to conduct a veterinary check (to make sure there is no welfare concerns with previous/present animals). And we also like to make sure that your garden is secure so the potentially adapted dog will not escape.
Step 5 - Adoption!
If you pass the required assessments/checks, then you will be able to adopt the dog. There will be an ‘adoption fee’ upon collection. Please note that this is a donation to help cover the dog’s vaccinations, food and kennelling costs and to also help us stay in business. Every one of our dogs is treated for fleas, ticks and worms; we also ensure all our dogs are microchipped and vaccinated. It is also our policy to have every dog neutered or spayed (whenever is best for the individual dog).
