Holly has been at Homeward Hound for a few months now and hasn’t had any real interest at all.
Holly’s Story:
Holly came to Homeward Hound from a stray kennel where she was on her “last day” and, if we hadn’t taken her in, she would have been PTS due to a lack of space. Therefore, we do not know much about Holly’s life before kennels, however, we have assessed her during her stay and found that she is a lovely girl. Holly came to us very skinny and underweight, she is now at an ideal weight for her breed.
About Holly:
Holly is affectionate and likes to have cuddles with all the volunteers. She walks very well on a lead but she is dog reactive, however, she is quite easy to manage. Holly knows basic commands such as “Sit” and “Paw”.
Holly is a Dutch Herder and this breed is usually very active and energetic. Holly, however, seems to be slightly more docile than what is typical of the breed, possibly due to her age or past.
The Home Holly Needs:
We are looking for a forever home for Holly, where she will enjoy some nice walks and live the life she deserves. Holly does not seem to like other dogs on walks so we are looking for a home with no other dogs. She could live with older (teenage) children but probably not cats.
If you believe that you can offer Holly the home she needs and would like to be considered for adopting her, please press the ‘Adopt Me’ button below to fill out our pre-adoption form.
